BENEFITS & DISCOUNTS

Book early during the Advance Booking period (17 October - 24 November 2007) to enjoy special benefits and discounts:

  • Kaleidoscope Subscription Series and Student Exploration Series discounts.
  • Privileged Festival Friends/Student Friends status if you subscribe successfully to 7 or more performances.
  • Every booking worth a total of HK$500 after any discount is entitled to a free drinks coupon (two coupons for a booking worth HK$1,000 etc).  Use the coupons to enjoy pre-performance or interval refreshments - a glass of wine, mineral water, juice or a soft drink - at designated bars in the HK Cultural Centre, HK City Hall or the HK Academy for Performing Arts during the Hong Kong Arts Festival period.
  •  'Hong Kong Arts Festival MasterCard' (Festival MasterCard) cardholders special offers:
    • During the Advance Booking period, they can enjoy a 5% discount when subscribing successfully to 1 or 2 performance(s).  Cardholders subscribing successfully to more than 2 performances enjoy the Kaleidoscope Subscription Series discounts.  They can also enjoy a 6 or 10 month interest-free instalment period (without any handling charges) to pay for their Festival tickets, for booking over HK$500, after subscription discounts.
    • During the Counter Booking period, they can enjoy a 5% discount when purchasing Festival tickets during the Counter Booking period.
    • For every HK$10,000 spending with the Festival MasterCard, a HK$52 cash rebate will be received.

Kaleidoscope Subscription Series

Enjoy great discounts when subscribing successfully to 3 or more performances: 

  • Enjoy a 5% discount if you subscribe successfully to 3 or 4 performances.
  • Enjoy a 10% discount if you subscribe successfully to 5 or 6 performances.
  • Enjoy a 15% discount and privileged Festival Friends status if you subscribe successfully to 7 or more performances.
  • During the Advance Booking period, the lowest price tickets and lowest price student tickets cannot be booked, except for tickets to programmes with only one ticket price.
  • You can book by Fax, by Post, on the Festival website or using the URBTIX Registered Patron Telephone Booking service.
  • Adults may book tickets for a maximum of 4 children/students to each performance provided that at least ONE standard price ticket is purchased in the same booking for that performance.  Please note that NOT all price categories carry student concessionary prices.

Student Exploration Series

Half-price concessionary student tickets are limited to local, full-time students only.  Each student is entitled to a maximum of 2 tickets for each performance.

  • Successful subscribers to 7 or more performances in the Student Exploration Series will automatically become a Student Friend.
  • During the Advance Booking period, the lowest price student tickets cannot be booked, except for programmes with only one student ticket price.
  • You can book by Fax, by Post, on the Festival website or using the URBTIX Registered Patron Telephone Booking service.
  • Students will be required to produce a valid student ID card for inspection at the admission point.  Those who fail to do so will be required to pay the full ticket price and handling charges.
  • Student quotas are limited and will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis.  Allocation of seats will be at the discretion of URBTIX and the Hong Kong Arts Festival Society Ltd.

Festival Friends/Student Friends

Successful subscribers to 7 or more performances in the Kaleidoscope Subscription Series or the Student Exploration Series will automatically become a Festival Friend/Student Friend and will enjoy benefits which include:

  • Best available seats for the 2009 Hong Kong Arts Festival
  • Free subscription to FestMag, the Festival's magazine, and other Festival information
  • Special discounts at selected restaurants, book shops and record shops
  • Taking part in selected workshops and rehearsals organised by the Hong Kong Arts Festival

Please note that:

  • Only the subscribers whose names appear on the Booking Form are entitled to become Festival Friends/Student Friends and to enjoy the benefits.
  • Festival Friends/Student Friends status is valid for one year only; 2007 Festival Friends/Student Friends must subscribe successfully to 7 or more performances this year in order to become a 2008 Festival Friend/Student Friend.
