Mainland patrons who opt for convenience can now enjoy the brand new ticket delivery service offered during the advance booking period of the 40th HKAF. With the following delivery methods, patrons in mainland China can now choose to have their tickets delivered to their door.

Cash on delivery in Guangdong Province
For the first time, patrons in the Guandong Province can book tickets via a cash on delivery service. At an exchange rate of 1 RMB : 1 HKD, this service is offered at no additional charge.

Tickets by courier in ALL Provinces
Patrons who book through credit cards can choose to receive their tickets by courier. With a nominal fee of just HK$50, tickets can be delivered to all provinces in China.

When to Book

Advance bookings will be accepted from 4 October to 25 November 2011. You can enjoy the following benefits during the Advance Booking Period:

  • Every advance booking worth a total of HK$700, after any discount, is entitled to a free drink coupon (two coupons for a booking worth HK$1,400, etc). Use the coupon(s) to enjoy a pre-performance or interval refreshment – wine, mineral water, juice or a soft drink – at designated bars in the HK Cultural Centre, HK City Hall or the HK Academy for Performing Arts, during the Hong Kong Arts Festival period.
  • Enjoy a 5% discount if you subscribe successfully to 3 or 4 performances.
  • Enjoy a 10% discount if you subscribe successfully to 5 or 6 performances.
  • Enjoy a 15% discount and privileged Festival Friends status if you subscribe successfully to 7 or more performances.

Postal Booking

  • Booking forms can be found in the 2012 Hong Kong Arts Festival Programme & Booking Guide, available at Xinghai Concert Hall, Shenzhen Concert Hall and Shenzhen Poly Theatre. Also, you can download a copy here -> Ticket Delivery in the Mainland Booking Form
  • Complete the Booking Form in black ink, be sure to include your credit card information (if applicable), delivery address and phone number in case we need to contact you for further details.
  • Mail the completed form on or before 25 November 2011 to Cityline (Hong Kong) Ltd. Guangzhou Office, 10/F, 174 Si You Xin Road, Wu Yang New City, Guangzhou, Cityline (Hong Kong) Ltd. Guangzhou Office (2012 Hong Kong Arts Festival).

Special Remarks

  • During the Advance Booking period, each subscriber may purchase up to a maximum of 16 tickets per performance.
  • All bookings will be treated on a first-come, first-served basis. The Hong Kong Arts Festival cannot guarantee the availability of tickets. Allocation of seats will be at the discretion of Cityline (Hong Kong) Ltd and the Hong Kong Arts Festival Society Ltd.
  • Once the booking is made, tickets sold are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
  • The price of discounted tickets will be rounded up to the nearest dollar on each ticket.
  • If you order your tickets in separate transactions, discounts previously enjoyed in the first transaction cannot be carried forward to the second transaction.
  • Cityline (Hong Kong) Ltd will contact you by phone to reconfirm your order. An order number will be assigned to each transaction.
  • Patrons who choose to use the ‘Cash on Delivery’ service should identify the courier by his / her dress code, company ID card and ticket orders. Please make sure the programmes, time, venue, price and number of tickets are in order and signed on the receipt.   • You are strongly advised to arrive punctually. The management reserves the right to refuse admission to latecomers. The management also reserves the right to determine the time latecomers will be admitted.
  • Student ticket holders must produce valid proof of identity (local full-time students) for inspection by the venue staff when attending performances. Those who fail to do so will be required to pay the full ticket price and handling charges.
  • People with disabilities must bring the valid ‘Registration Card for People with Disabilities’ when attending performances. Those who fail to do so will be required to pay the full ticket price and handling charges.
  • Concessionary tickets are limited and bookings will be dealt with strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Persons below 6 years old will not be admitted.
  • The Hong Kong Arts Festival Society Limited reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists and/or vary advertised programmes and seating arrangements.
  • In the event of programme cancellation, tickets will be refunded at the face value of ticket prices in Hong Kong Dollar.

 

Counter bookings

Booking at URBTIX Outlets

Standard price tickets, half-price tickets for students and people with disabilities will be available from 3 December 2011 onwards at all URBTIX outlets. Payment in cash, credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Diners Club and Visa) and China UnionPay Card (Hong Kong currency only) is accepted. See URBTIX Outlets & Opening Hours.

Booking at HK Ticketing Outlets

Starting from 3 December 2011, Festival tickets to performances at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and Star Hall, KITEC are also available through the following HK Ticketing outlets. Payment in cash and credit card (American Express, MasterCard and Visa) is accepted.
