A Dialogue Between the Traditional and the Contemporary
15 Feb 2009 5:15 - 6:30pm Book of Ghosts tickets are required for seat reservation. Please send full name (English and Chinese) and mobile number before midnight on 14 February to info@zuni.org.hk or fax to 2838 7527 stating “to register for ‘A Dialogue Between the Traditional and the Contemporary’”. In response to the dance and theatre performances of the four traditional masters in Book of Ghosts, four contemporary artists, Park Hobin (Seoul), Manop Meejamrat (Bangkok), Huang Yulin (Taipei) and David Yeung (Hong Kong) will join a workshop with these masters for creative exchanges, after which the four contemporary artists will present a short performance. |

A dialogue with the masters: An evening of All Bach with dance preview
03 Feb 2009 7:30pm In English Guest Host: Natasha Rogai (Dance critic for the South China Morning Post) Choreographer Wang Xinpeng and William Forsythe's rehearsal directors, Agnes Noltenius and Thierry Guiderdoni, will share the creative process and discuss how Bach has been an inspiration for different ballet masters. The audience will also have an exclusive opportunity to see a preview of the programme performed by the Hong Kong Ballet’s dancers. Baroque Costumes and Wigs - Backstage Guided Tour
23 Feb 2009 6:00 - 7:00pm Speakers: Dace Bula During the backstage tour, participants will be able to see the costumes for Alcina used for this particular performance. Explanations will be given about authentic Baroque costumes and the stylization of these costumes in the context of the performance.
