Introduction

An immersive concert unprecedented in Hong Kong, Shuffle Dimensions is a musical promenade in which contemporary music, installation and digital arts intertwine and interact, revealing the invisible landscape of music.

Hong Kong media artist Keith Lam is the spatial and visual architect and experience designer of this musical journey, collaborating with composer Alain Chiu to create an immersive music composition to be performed in the open space of the theatre. George Crumb’s seminal string quartet Black Angels takes us to the climax of this journey, with robots interacting with this mesmerising and challenging music performed by the charismatic Cong Quartet.
