Hundreds gathered at Westminster Abbey in London to commemorate the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt on Oct 29th. The commemoration of the battle, which King Henry V famously fought against the French and won, even featured the real sword and helmet used by Henry V himself!
Danz Up - Catching action shots

Our Jockey Club Local Creative Talents Series Danz Up cast gathered for their first photoshoot in Kwun Tong recently. Battling the hot and humid weather, the cast modeled extremely demanding moves for the camera. From jumping strenuously to twisting their bodies to highly testing positions, the dancers displayed exceptional determination and professionalism. Take a look at the behind-the-scenes pictures here!

Nearly 100 candidates came for our Jockey Club Local Creative Talents Series Danz Up audition on 9 August. During the try-outs, choreographer Shing Mak led the candidates through a number of short routines, guiding them through both basic and difficult steps. Here are some snapshots of the audition:

Casting has begun for the 44th HKAF New Stage Series!

We have just completed the first round of casting for our New Stage Series set for next year’s HKAF. Due to the fantastic responses we have had, casting had to be spread out over three days. During the auditions, applicants worked very hard to impress the judges. Director Eric Tang, Playwright Chan Kwan-yee and Actor Chu Pak-him devised a range of warm-up and improvisation exercises, prompting the actors to act on-the-spot and respond to spontaneous commands – definitely not an easy task!
