A step outside the comfort zone
Transcendent, unflinching, memorable theatre in a palace of dreams

“A performance of unexpected charm and humour” Montreal Theatre Hub

The race of Titans once ruled ancient Greece before they were vanquished and replaced by the Olympian gods.

Inspired by these ideas of change, Euripides Laskaridis’ sixty minutes of gloriously bizarre performance art reveal the vanity of ambition. Neither man, woman nor transgender, his extraordinary character and faceless partner explode notions of mortality and transformation. Titans occupies a space between light and darkness, on a stage that is a place of both freedom and invention, tragedy and grotesque.

Channeling the cult following of his first worldwide success, RelicTitans has been performed in Paris, London and at more than twenty international festivals. Laskaridis conjures magic from the mundane in a wickedly eccentric, burlesque and cabaret world. He tests our acceptance of the incongruous and unfamiliar to the limit.

Laskaridis is a rising star in Europe’s contemporary dance and performance scene. Trained in Athens and New York, he was awarded a coveted Pina Bausch Fellowship in 2016.
