Named for one of the most gifted students of Janáček’s school of composition, the Pavel Haas Quartet is no stranger to works by the illustrious composer. In this short interview, the players explain how they approach interpreting Janáček’s exceptional two quartets. “They are so full of stories…They capture the whole of life in its complexity,” says the quartet cellist.
