1. In Person
URBTIX – Standard price tickets and discount tickets for local full-time students and people with disabilities are available at all URBTIX outlets. (Handling fee is not required). Payment in cash, credit card (American Express, MasterCard and Visa) and China UnionPay Card (Hong Kong currency only) is accepted. Click here to see URBTIX Outlets & Opening Hours.
Cityline – Starting from the first ticket sale date, HKAF tickets to performance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts are also available through Box Office at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. (Monday to Friday: 12pm to 6pm, except Saturday, Sunday and public holidays).
2. By Telephone
URBTIX – Starting from the first ticket sale date, telephone credit card booking for HKAF ticket is available through URBTIX during office hours (10:00am – 8:00pm daily) at 3166 1288 until 1 hour before each performance. Credit card bookings for oversea patrons (including China and Macau) are also available through the URBITX Hotline. The service fee is HK$9 per ticket. All service fees are non-refundable. The service fee is subject to change in accordance with the announcement of URBTIX.
Cityline – Starting from the first ticket sale date, HKAF tickets to performance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts are also available through the Cityline booking hotline at 2111 5333 (Monday to Friday: 10am to 7pm, except public holidays). A booking fee of HK$15 per ticket will apply to telephone bookings via Cityline.
3. Via Website
URBTIX – Starting from the first ticket sale date, HKAF tickets can also be booked through URBTIX Internet Ticketing Service at www.urbtix.hk until one hour before each performance. The service fee is HK$9 per ticket.
Cityline – Starting from the first ticket sale date, HKAF tickets to performance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts are also available for purchase at www.cityline.com. A booking fee of HK$12 per ticket will apply to internet bookings via Cityline.
4. Via Mobile Application
URBTIX – Starting from the first ticket sale date, HKAF tickets can also be booked through URBTIX mobile application. The service fee is HK$9 per ticket. Click here to see the details.
Types of Tickets
During the Counter Booking period, each patron may purchase up to a maximum of 40 tickets per transaction.
2. Student Tickets (only for local full-time students)
Each student may purchase up to a maximum of 4 student tickets per performance at the URBTIX. Proof of identity has to be shown for inspection at the admission point. Those who fail to do so will be required to pay the full ticket price and handling charges.
3. Tickets for People with Disabilities
Each holder of a 'Registration Card for People with Disabilities' issued by the Government of the HKSAR may book 1 half-price concessionary ticket for each performance. There are only a limited number of wheelchair seats and half price concessionary quotas in each venue and these will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Proof of identity has to be shown for inspection at the admission point. Those who fail to do so will be required to pay the full ticket price and handling charges.
4.Discount Scheme of Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra
Discount tickets are available at all URBTIX outlets for full-time students, senior citizens (aged 60 or above) and people with disabilities.
Fees and Tickets Collection
Tickets purchased by URBTIX telephone credit card booking and on URBTIX website can be collected from any URBTIX outlets, ticket dispensing machines or by post. Tickets booked within 7 days of the performance can only be collected from URBTIX outlets or ticket dispensing machines.
Please present the credit card you used for the telephone or internet booking for authentication and collection of your pre-paid tickets. All ticket and service fees will be deducted from the subscriber’s credit card account. The service fee is HK$9 per ticket. If tickets are requested to be sent by registered post, the delivery charge is HK$28 per order. All service fees are non-refundable. The service fee is subject to change in accordance with the announcement of URBTIX.
2. Via Cityline
A booking fee of HK$12per ticket will apply to internet bookings and HK$15per ticket will apply to telephone bookings via Cityline. Patrons may choose to collect their tickets by courier to a specific address, subject to an additional courier charge. All service fees are non-refundable.
Special Notes
• You are strongly advised to arrive punctually. The management reserves the right to refuse admission of latecomers and re-admission of audience members who leave the auditorium.
• The Hong Kong Arts Festival Society Limited also reserves the right to determine the admission and re-admission of such person.
• In any case, latecomers shall only be admitted at designated latecomer point(s). Audiences are strongly advised to arrive punctually. No refunds or changes will be offered if the ticket holder is refused admission due to late arrival. In the event of any dispute, the HKAF reserves all rights to make the final decision.
• Patrons must check their tickets before leaving the booking counter.
• No refunds or exchanges can be made after the tickets are sold.
• Each local full-time student may purchase up to a maximum of 4 student tickets per performance at the URBTIX outlets.
• Student ticket holders must produce valid proof of identity (local full-time students) for inspection by the venue staff when attending performances. Those who fail to do so will be required to pay the full ticket price and handling charges.
• People with disabilities must bring a valid "Registration Card for People with Disabilities" when attending performances. Those who fail to do so will be required to pay the full ticket price and handling charges.
• Concessionary tickets are limited and bookings will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• The price of discounted tickets will be rounded up to the nearest dollar on EACH ticket.
• For in-venue performances, persons below 6 years of age will not be admitted unless stated otherwise.
• The Hong Kong Arts Festival Society Limited reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists and/or vary advertised programmes and seating arrangements. Should there be any changes, the Society will update relevant information on its website as far as practicable.
• Patrons booking tickets and selecting seating should be aware that different seats have different viewing angles and effects. The Hong Kong Arts Festival Society Ltd. / the programme organiser makes no representation on or warranty whatsoever for the quality and viewing effects of all and any seats in the venue for the programmes irrespective of the prices of the seats.
• For online programmes, the HKAF is not responsible for connectivity problems, power outages or other technical issues originating on the participant's end. Tickets will not be refunded.

For the safety of audiences and artists, please note the following health precautions:
All audience members are required to comply with the safety measures implemented by the performance venues.
• To comply with the reduced capacity and social distancing regulations of the performance venues, special seating arrangements are in place.
• Audience members are advised to arrive punctually as they are required to go through temperature checks upon entering the performance venues. Attendees with a temperature of 37.5°C or above will not be admitted and tickets will not be refunded.
• All audience members are required to wear their own masks and maintain social distancing in the venues.
• Admission rules and/or seating capacity/arrangement, etc., are subject to change by respective performance venues for prevention of disease. Ticket holders may thus be denied admission. Please check out the latest event announcement.
• The Hong Kong Arts Festival Society is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. Updates to our performances will be announced on the HKAF website, abiding by the latest official pandemic recommendations, which includes the release of seats for sale to the public if social distancing measures are relaxed prior to the performances.
• Audience members are kindly reminded that the latest Prevention and Control of Disease Regulations and related vaccine bubble requirements implemented by the Government at the time of the performance must be complied with.
