[Important Notice] The Mikhailovsky Ballet of St Petersburg, Russia will replace the Berlin State Ballet to perform The Sleeping Beauty at the 44th HKAF in 2016. The Berlin State Ballet has decided to withdraw their performances in Hong Kong due to unforeseen circumstances within their company. For performance details, please click here.

On March 28th, the 43rd Hong Kong Arts Festival officially celebrated its official finale with the performance of Jewels by the Bolshoi Ballet. Mr. Tsang Tak-sing, Acting Chief Secretary for Administration and our Guest of honour, proposed a toast to mark the conclusion of this major annual international event.

The 43rd Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF) officially opens on 27 Feb with a performance by Christian Thielemann and the Staatskapelle Dresden. This year’s HKAF presents about 1,500 acclaimed artists from around the world in 137 performances, including 16 new works/world premieres and 10 Asian premieres. Of the 110,000 available tickets, over 98,000 (88 percent) have been sold as of 27 Feb.

The 43rd HKAF receives enthusiastic responses from audience, selling 60% of 110,000 available tickets with over 10,000 booking forms received by the close of advance bookings. Counter bookings begin at 10:00am on 13 December. Be sure to grab your tickets fast!
