Postponement and refund arrangements for Aristophanes' Lysistrata
The Hong Kong Arts Festival has been informed by our partner, the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre, that due to unexpected circumstances, the programme Aristophanes' Lysistrata is unable to be presented in Hong Kong on the currently scheduled dates. Patrons who bought tickets will receive a refund. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your kind understanding. Please stay tuned for announcements about future performance dates.
Refund details for HKAF tickets bought through URBTIX and HKAF channels (excluding Cityline):
• Please submit a refund request by clicking here or downloading the Refund Form, and mailing the completed form with the original or copies of tickets to the HKAF on or before 30 April 2026. Please keep a copy of the tickets. Mailing address or in person: Ticketing Department, Hong Kong Arts Festival Society Ltd, Room 1205, 12/F, 2 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
• For further ticketing enquiries, please contact the HKAF Ticketing Department from Monday to Friday (9:00am-1:00pm, 2:00pm-5:30pm), excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, on (852) 2824 2430 or email 2026refund@hkaf.org.
• Upon receipt of the complete and accurate refund information and ticket copy(s), the Society will refund the ticket amount to the designated bank account provided in the Refund Form on or before 30 June 2026.
• In the event the HKAF offers a refund for cancelled or postponed events, the HKAF will be responsible for refunding only the purchase price of the tickets and the refund will only be made to the holder of the original tickets. All handling charges collected by URBTIX and Cityline ticketing agencies, as well as any ticket delivery charges, are non-refundable.
Refund details for tickets bought via Cityline :
• If you purchased tickets by credit card or digital payments (Alipay /Alipay HK /WeChat Pay /PayMe /BoC Pay /UnionPay /Octopus Online), a full refund of the total ticket price amount (*not including the customer service fee and courier fee) will automatically be deposited to the same credit card or digital payment account within 60 working days (depending on the processing time of individual issuing banks or digital payment platforms).
• In the event the HKAF offers a refund for cancelled or postponed events, the HKAF will be responsible for refunding only the purchase price of the tickets and the refund will only be made to the ticket purchasers. All handling charges collected by ticketing agencies, as well as any ticket delivery charges, are non-refundable.
