The 44th Hong Kong Arts Festival Kick-off Press Conference was held on 6 October, announcing details on 118 performances, featuring over 1,400 international and local artists.

The press conference was hosted by Ronald Arculli, Chairman of the Hong Kong Arts Festival Society, Tisa Ho, Executive Director; and Grace Lang, Programme Director. Over 120 guests attended the press conference: journalists, representatives from the arts community, members of supporting and sponsoring organisations, and artists participating in the 44th HKAF.

The Kick-off Press Conference of the 44th HKAF offers a great opportunity for the Festival’s board members and the the senior management of sponsors to meet each other. Actress Annelle @ A2A , one of the actresses of Danz Up,  the featured programme of  the  Jockey Club Local Creative Talents Series of the 44th Hong Kong Arts Festival, is excited to be part of the production.

 

Choregrapher Cai Ying will make her debut at The Hong Kong Jockey Club Contemporary Dance Series during the 44th Hong Kong Arts Festival, investigating through her choreography the roles and identities assigned to the “female”gender in today’s society.
