A Grand Celebration of Peking and Kun Opera—Classic Peking Opera Excerpts in Concert

The concert brings together more than 20 celebrated arias spanning two centuries of Peking opera works, performed by Yu Kuizhi, the pre-eminent laosheng (mature male role) artist of his generation and Artistic Director of the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, and Li Shengsu, the leading qingyi (virtuous female role) performer of our time, together with renowned guest artists and stars from the Academy.
