Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey into Night, one of the most influential plays of the 20th century, poignantly illustrates a family bound by love and mutual torment, accusation and self-justification, regret and suffering. Timofey Kulyabin brings this cornerstone of world theatre into the present day in this Romanian-language adaptation, which preserves the autobiographical essence of the original. This production premiered in 2025 to great acclaim at the Sibiu International Theatre Festival.
