In 2020, Lin Hwai-min stepped down from Cloud Gate, the dance company he founded in 1973. Noticing that the FOCASA circus company was struggling during the pandemic, he threw it a lifeline and returned to the stage, bringing in beloved picture book author and artist Jimmy Liao, whose vibrant imagery adds to a performance that appeals to people from all walks of life. Together, Lin, FOCASA and Liao have created a sensational celebration of the circus that features talented performers from various fields.

This sharing session will feature Lin Hwai-min and Lin Chih-wei, producer of the programme and founder of FOCASA, who will talk about how they met, grew to understand each other, and eventually joined forces in creating this production.
