Recently appointed as the new Director of the Prague Conservatory, renowned Czech pianist and educator Ivo Kahánek will collaborate with other leading Czech musicians to present masterpieces of Czech chamber music to Hong Kong audiences at the 54th Hong Kong Arts Festival.
In addition, Kahánek will host a masterclass to share his expertise and insights with piano students and aspiring pianists.

Ivo Kahánek
Czech pianist Ivo Kahánek is one of the most acclaimed pianists in the Czech Republic, universally recognised as one of the foremost interpreters of Romantic piano music and a specialist in the Czech repertoire. He has performed with leading orchestras, including the Czech Philharmonic and the Berlin Philharmonic. Kahánek is a recipient of several accolades, including the BBC Music Magazine Award in 2020 for his recording of concertos by Antonín Dvořák and Bohuslav Martinů with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Jakub Hrůša.
