Martina Batič
Slovenian conductor Martina Batič is one of the most promising choral conductors of her generation, known for her versatility across a wide repertoire, from a cappella to choral-symphonic works. She has guest-conducted renowned European choirs like the Netherlands Radio Choir and Bavarian Radio Choir. Batič received the Eric Ericson Award in 2006 and the Slovenian Prešeren Fund Prize in 2019. She was principal conductor of the French radio choir (2018–2022) and is now Principal Conductor of Portugal’s Gulbenkian Choir.
